International Conference “The Memory of War, the War of Memory”

The Institute for East Asian History at the Academy of Korean Studies will hold an international conference with the theme of “The Memory of War, the War of Memory” <투쟁의 기억, 기억의 투쟁>

Tuesday, 18 December 2012, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Graduate School Auditorium at the Academy of Korean Studies. Address: 323 Haogae-ro, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, 463-791 / Tel : +82-31-709-8111

The conference aims to bring together eminent scholars to share views and opinions on the Korean War.

How to get to the AKS by Subway:

Take the subway to the Dongjak Station and transfer to Subway Line 9 or 4.
Get off at Indeogwon Station (Line 4) and take Exit 2. Then, catch a city bus or a taxi cab to AKS (about 8km).
